The Town of Clinton is joining the Hudson Valley Community Power “Community Choice Aggregation” (CCA) Program. CCA is a New York State policy which puts control of choosing energy supply in local hands, allowing local leaders to pool demand to build the clout necessary to negotiate a fixed-rate, potentially lower pricing from private suppliers. Communities are also able to choose cleaner energy. Residents have the opportunity to opt out of the CCA and to receive their energy supply from Central Hudson or another supplier of their choice. At this event, come learn about the launch of CCA programs in New York to understand the unique way it’s being employed by communities to save money and transition to clean energy. Our speakers will be Jeff Domanski and Hannah Karp of Hudson Valley Energy, a nonprofit focused on fostering sustainable communities with emphasis on people-focused strategies.

Two important Hudson Valley Energy Q&A sessions are scheduled for Clinton Town residents to learn about Community Choice Aggregation.
