A Reminder from Highway Superintendent Martin as we move into winter:

When our highway crew is out clearing roads during winter storms, we want to remind you that our plows travel at a slow rate when engaged in snow and ice clearing. If you see a plow, slow down and maintain a safe distance.

If you have a problem to report regarding a town road, please call the highway department at (845) 266-5853 option 4

BEST PRACTICES FOR SNOW REMOVAL

A reminder to Town residents:

• There is no parking permitted on the roads from November 15 through April 15 in order to plow.  

The Highway Department has a need for rags. If you would like to drop them off, please call the Highway Department to make arrangements. (845) 266-5853 Option 4

Scrap metal: The metal dumpster has been moved into the fenced area, but we are still happily accepting metal.   The drop off times will follow the Highway hours – Monday thru Friday from 7 till 3:30 and Saturday from 8:30 till 1pm or by appointment. 845-266-5853 option 4 or highway@townofclinton.com
