NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS: TOWN HALL FLOORING REPLACEMENT PROJECT

Sealed bids are sought and invited by the Town of Clinton, NY for the Town Hall Flooring Replacement Project located at 1215 Centre Road, related goods, and
services as set forth in the specifications prepared by CPL Architecture, Engineering & Planning, 26 IBM Road, Poughkeepsie, New York 12601.

Bids will be received by the Town Clerk of the Town of Clinton, Town Hall, 1215 Centre Road, Rhinebeck, NY 12572, until 10:00AM on May 10, 2024, at which time and place
they will be publicly opened and read aloud, with the contract being awarded as soon as practicable thereafter.

Copies of the Bid Documents may be obtained through Empire Bid Net or on the Town of Clinton Website (https://www.townofclinton.com BELOW), on or after April 12, 2024.
No bid will be accepted unless a signed Certification of Non-Collusion is submitted with the bid.

It is anticipated that the bid will be awarded on or about the May 14, 2024 Town Board meeting. The project is funded by ARPA funds. Federal requirements will
apply. At a minimum the contractor must solicit pricing from MWBE / DBE firms. The contractor must pay the higher of NYS or Federal prevailing wages. The
project must be completed by December 2, 2024. Note that a minimum of 15 year warranty for all flooring materials is required

The Clinton Town Board expressly reserves the right to waive any irregularities in or to accept any bid or to reject any and all bids or to award on any or all items, as the
interest of the Town may appear to require. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within twenty-five (25) days after the actual date of the bid opening.

Addendum #1 flooring bid

The addendum, found above (Addendum #1 flooring bid) is a significant change to the scope of the work and is described here:

Item 2. SCOPE OF WORK (Page 4 of 141 of the Bid Manual)
Delete:
o “removal of existing flooring”
Insert
o “ preparation of existing flooring to receive cast underlayment and new flooring”

Addendum #2 flooring bid

The approximate total square footage of the project is 1720 sq. ft. A walkthrough is scheduled for May 1, 2024 at 10 AM. It is encouraged but not mandatory.
