WELCOME SPRING!
Superintendent Todd Martin reports that the Highway Department has shifted from Winter snow plowing to maintaining Town roads this Spring.
The crew has been busy at work keeping our roads safe. Among their daily assignments:
- roadside mowing and line trimming around all the signs and guide rails to help maintain safety and clear sight distances.
- replacing culvert pipes.
- maintaining the dirt roads after the significant amount of rain fall we have had.
- cleaning up limbs and branches.
- shoulder work on dirt roads to maintain the shoulder area for better drainage.
- replacing signs where necessary.
Restrictive Roadside Parking was lifted on April 15th.

SCRAP METAL:
Scrap metal: The metal dumpster has been moved into the fenced area, but we are still happily accepting metal. The drop off times will follow the Highway hours – Monday thru Friday from 7 till 3:30 and Saturday from 8:30 till 1pm or by appointment. 845-266-5853 option 4 or highway@townofclinton.com
