If your dog is due for a rabies vaccination booster during the next year, you must have it boostered just prior to obtaining the license renewal in order to have a full year license. If you choose not to have your dog vaccinated at the time of renewal, you will be issued a partial-year license but will still need to pay the full annual fee and you will need to renew your dog license again after it has been vaccinated. This is the law – per NYS Agriculture and Markets. For more information, contact the Town Clerk’s office.

The fees for licensing:  Spayed/neutered: $6.00     Unspayed/unneutered: $19.00
Purebred: (of same breed & registered with a national organization)
- An added fee of $3.00 per unspayed, unneuterd dog over the age of 6 months will be added to the total.
